It is really well worth the due diligence to go to the FMCA site and read what benefits they can provide. There are also many local chapters that do interesting things.

Bobby and Scott at Amazing Creations do great work. I have been there 2 different times plus they are fast. They did my Samsung 197 and installed the Magnum 2812 with controller in 7.5hrs then also installed the Dish Travler 1000. Its great when you can have x Country Coach tech work on you coach.

We enjoyed the FMCA Convention in Redmond last week. This was our first FMCA. We started with an Alpine Coach Association (ACA) pre-rally at the Portland Fairview RV Park. This was a good start as the ACA had it together.

We volunteered as drivers of golf carts during the FMCA. It was fun, I met a lot of people while giving them a ride.

The vendors were my main area of interest, although we attended a few seminars. I had some work done that was needed on our coach and I had work scheduled - we'll be in Junction City, Oregon, next week for cabinet work at Amazing Creations.

I thought it was a little lite on vendors for a rally that size. The flies were a pain. We arrived at 5:25 pm on Wednesday and they had already closed the parking/registration. We had to park in the staging area the first night. They could have kept some of those old people up a little later, like 6:00pm.

They had a good showing of new motor homes. I thought the seminars were not planned well. Too many at one time and not enough opportunity to see one that you missed because it overlapped another. I enjoyed the Freightliner chassis seminar, but the room wasn't much bigger than a bathroom.

It was our first International Rally and I thought it had a bunch of RVer's, but less vendors than our local FMCA Rally in Indio California.
