Replaced (very easy) and now that side is 1.5 inches lower.
So you replaced the air bag, right? - Big_KatunaExplorer IIAre you sure the bag had a hole? The ride hit valve can leak air.
I think the front one controls ht and the (two) rears control side to side.
My front failed and wouldn’t work for 10-15 minutes and if I remember, no bags inflated until the front opened.
Hopefully somebody that knows what they are talking about will chime in. - ken1961ExplorerOn my Alfa 36 foot RV they moved one rear valve to the front. 2 on front and 1 on rear.
Had my Itasca Ellipse at Freightliner in S.C. this year for front end alignment and the right front is still higher than the left. It causes no steering or driving problems. - fairway2002ExplorerYes it definitely had a leak.. I could feel the air coming out. The new one was the same part. But new one was firmer.
Thanks - MrWizardModeratori'm only guessing
but the New one maybe stiffer, the old may stretch more when inflated with the same pressure
i think i would replace the other old one with a new one, keep it for an emg spare - fcooperExplorerSince you have a Freightliner chassis, give the helpdesk a call. It's free. They will need the last 6 digits of your vin number.

They were very helpful to me on several problems.
Fred - IvylogExplorer IIISide to side is controlled by the 2 rear ride height valves. Adjust the rear one on that side.

I just did exactly this. ^^^^^^^^^^ I blew a hole in a front air bag and I know they are at least 9-10 years old so I wanted them to be the same. I have the old one in a bay as an emergency spare. - wolfe10Explorer

Correct. So, how is left/right ride height in back? - fairway2002Explorer
