Front A/C doesn't work on auto

Hi All,
Came across another issue and this time is with the front A/C unit.
When on 'cool/auto', the you can hear the unit fire up briefly and then cuts out after a few seconds. It does work well taking out of auto and running on either Low/High Fan. Has anyone experienced this and found a fix?
