I just about did that cause I pull an enclosed trailer with motorcycle inside. I often back that trailer almost a block. Thought it would be so much easier to push it in and see where I am going. Before i got a chance to buy and mount a hitch on the front, I got good enough to back it backward without too much hastle. Decided before I unhooked, turned the motorhome around, and rehooked on the front; I would have it backed in.
Now if you were thinking of hauling something on the front axle to even out the load on the axles, it would be a good idea. I would be careful on what you put into that front carrier that does not block your headlights or air flow to the radiator.
