I'm taking you up on your offer for additional questions. I see where the chevy part is only 2" high. but you also said that the ones from Factory Surplus "have a much smaller bolt pattern".
DiscountVanandTruck's stock #113619 is supposed to fit my (2002 E450) vehicle (although it isn't a swivel) and has an 8 x 11 top bolt pattern. The FactoryRVSurplus stock #1181 also has an 8 x 11 top bolt pattern.
OK I had this mod on my to do list for a while. It would be great to do it for only $50. You also said that the product from FactoryRVSurplus is a "flimsy sheet metal adapter". Do you know that this product uses lighter gauge steel than the one from DiscountVanandTruck?
