Front tv change out

Well I finally did it. After dry camping a few weeks ago and not being able to get any Chanel's due to our tv being 20 years old and no box I decided to install a flat screen. We're our tv goes up font is in a moulded plastic enclosure with wood cabinets on the sides. I really didn't want to spend much time or $$ so I just removed old tv and put in a pull out tilting swiveling mount. The tv fits flat against the wood trim around the plastic enclosure. I went with a Vizio Razor due to it being about 1-3/4 thick and front facing speakers.
  • Excellent. We surface mounted ours on a 3/4 plywood door, with piano hinge, a couple years ago. Electronics stored in cabinet behind it.
  • I just finally found the 32" Phillips I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay (actually better!). I'm working on mounting it to a door that will enclose the original 30" opening for a long gone original tv. Not only mount the tv but increase storage, too. Been making do with a 17"; what a difference!
