Fuel pressure check port

does any one have an online resource that can show me the exact location where the fuel pressure check valve or schrader port is located on my 2000 ford E450 super duty V10 engine.
i took the dog house off the inside section of the cab and followed the fuel rail and i think its on the passenger side but would like to know for sure if that is the correct schrader port to check fuel pressure from the fuel pump and tank into the engine.
please help
  • Chilton's says: The fuel pressure test port is located at the right rear of the engine, on the fuel rail"

Our chassis is 2002 E450 and the test point is under the hood. Slightly off center, toward passenger side, closer to the rear of the compartment than the front. Has a GREEN cap over it.

Details can vary by production year of the Chassis. Does the door jamb sticker provided by FORD call it 2000? Could easily be 1999...

Just looked at ours. The Fuel Pressure Test Port is paired with the transmission dipstick tube. Near the Engine Oil Filler. Straight to the rear, from the passenger side top corner of the radiator.
  • The green capped Shrader valve next to the Transmission Fluid dip is the EVAP port, not the Fuel Rail test port. My 2002 has it further in under the doghouse cover.
