Garmin RV 760 vs Rand McNally 7720
Looking to get an RV specific GPS. I have read reviews on Amazon.com and both units seem to have some issues. I searched the topic on rv.net , but couldn't find anything specific to address my conc...

I have the Garmin RV 760, very happy with it.
For me the killer feature is the Basecamp software for my PC, (also available for the Mac). It lets me plan my route on the computer, review it, make sure it makes sense, set any waypoints I want along the way. Then I download it to my Garmin RV 760.
I had considered the Rand McNally when it came out but there was no accompanying PC software. That was a showstopper for me.
