Gas Class A Recommendations Please

I would like some recommendations for a Class A gas unit. I am an experienced RVer but with bigger diesel stuff but now have a need for a smaller gas unit.
35' range, must handle well without extensive chassis mods,no tile unless it's heated, king bed,no propane,4,000 lb. towing capacity, in the 2014 to new age. Not interested in Thor, Jayco type models.

Thanx

My Sightseer 33C handles really well. My previous 35 footer was a 1996 National RV which handled "like a whale". In 5 years I have filled the propane 3 times. I have 2 heat pumps. The power is good, I was anxious because my National had the venerable 460. 120 V water heater, 1000 watt inverter, vinyl flooring, 3 slideouts, Onan generator, and the king bed. The later models have improved transmission. We have been very happy with it.

Newmar Bat Star series has a few models in the 34'11" range. We own one make sure you get a Chassis upgrade to the 24,000 lb Chasis. I spent 17,000 on suspension improvements. Get one on a 2016 chassis or newer to get the 6 speed transmission. Tiffin also has a few selections in that 35' range. either coach is a very good build.

$17,000.00 on suspension improvements :E I would run from that.

Sorry it should read $1700.00

I am not totally locked in on just a 35-foot anything in that range would be fine. If I have to have propane then so be it but I would prefer Electric. I have absolutely no use for hauling a ton of tile down the road in an already underpowered vehicle and I don't need a bath and a half.
Thanx for all the suggestions.

Consider dropping years and getting a Workhorse with 8.1 chassis Newmar Mountain Are. Have no idea if they have King bed option or not, and will most likely have Propane.

And if you can bump up to 37', look at the again older models years of the UFO based rear engined 8.1 chassis coaches. Rexhall's with their two T-Rex super slides is big enough to square dance in. Monaco's Holiday Rambler also had a popular unit.

Happy hunting,

Highly recommend Forest River Georgetown. It does have propane, but as long as you're hooked up to 50A you don't need to use it. Ours runs straight and true.

Check out the Forest River Georgetown XL models. I think they have heated tile floor models with king beds. There are cheap fixes available on the Ford F53 that fix handling problems such as cheap handling fix, safe t steer, and proper front end alognment.

Are you really determined to have a gas motorhome, or just a desire to have one in the 35' range. I ask this, because Tiffin and Newmar both have nice diesel motorhomes in the 34-35' range. This will give you the better ride, higher load capacity etc. while still giving you the shorter length. We went from a 41' diesel to our current 34' Newmar Ventana LE and are very happy with it. Newmar also now offers a very upscale class diesel, the New Aire if you want to spend more money.

Good luck... I think the only Class A chassis being made right now (could change) is a Ford F53 and many folks have had need to make improvements. There is an active Ford Chassis owners section on the iRv2 website that migh help point out what others have run into and how they addressed it.
I’d check with Newmar to see if they have an all electric option for their Gasser models, perhaps in their Canyon Star model line.
When you say might change, what are you referring to? The Ford chassis issues is what I had heard about and why I made the comment.
Thank You for taking the time to reply.

Have heard that other chassis’s may enter the market. No specifics.

Bounders are great MHs, but the ride on these gassers will wear you out in comparison to DPs.

I know you said no Thor but we love our Miramar 35.3. It's a little longer than what you want (36'11") but we love the layout. It does have propane but there are only two things that use propane on the RV (propane/electric hot water and the furnace). I have no complaints about the way it drives. Trucks and other large vehicles don't have much affect on us when passing. This is my first Class A so I don't have anything else to compare it to but I have yet to have a "white knuckle" moment driving it. Has a king bed and tows our Jeep Wrangler great. The hitch is rated for 8000lbs.
