I gave my RV to Paul Evert RV in Fresno to find out what was going on why the Gen stopped making electricity.
They charged me 125.00 to find out what was wrong and then we would go from there.
They called me a few days later to tell me it would be an additional 325.00 to pull the gen and finish the diagnostics. I asked them why it cost me the 125.00 if they couldnt do it for the original quote and how do I know if you wont just ask for more to complete just a quote?
Never mind I told them wrap it back up I'd come and get it. They told me it would be ready the next day. I went in to get it and asked again what was the 125.00 diagnostic charge if I had to add 325.00 to complete. they said they couldnt get to everything and that they had to now bench test the gen and that they would probably just advise to replace the gen since it was a 1999 and had only 184hrs on it. The reasoning was that whoever owned it before me didnt run the gen 30 minutes a moth to have only 184 hrs.
None of this makes sense to me? Anyone care to advise?
