At what temperature does this happen? Gensets will overheat, especially sitting with no air to cool them on hot days. When it stops there should be a series of blinking lights on the panel, this is the fault code. You can look up the fault in the manual or online for your model.
I had one that did that. The genset was up near the front of the rv right behind the exhaust headers. Poor placement. I ended up installing a heat shield in the front of the bin it sat in as well as installed vented louvers in the bin door. That seemed to fix the issue.
