I agree about carpet. Hate it! I don't want ANY carpet.

We aren't full-timers, but we did want a rig with a dedicated bedroom that didn't require constructing the bed at night and taking it apart again the next morning. The shortest we found, back in 2010, was a 2002 32' Georgetown. We were in the used marketplace with a top $ limit and found a nice 8-year old 32' rig for a good price.

I'm sure there are others out there of similar configuration that aren't too long.

BTW, we gave up the lifestyle last fall due to the rapidly rising costs. When you're dipping into your IRA to fund an RV trip, that's time to rethink things!

I just purchased a Georgetown 364TS from RVOne. They are a family owned dealership with 5 locations and gave me a better deal than I could get with MHSRV. My Georgetown does not have carpet except in the master. This is my third Forest River product and I think the quality is excellent for the price. I chose mine based on floor plan, bunks and two full baths but I think if you look at MHSRV at both models you will probably have a gut feeling as to which is better for you. I knew immediately when I saw mine. Good luck!!

I am especially interested in the comfort and quality of the living room furniture. Does any of you know who makes the furniture.
I have not actually seen inside these units. I plan to go to MHSRV to look as they seem to have the best prices and are closest to me. Any other dealers that come close to their prices?

"The new "retro Winnies" look awesome!" until you look inside at the décor & setup, very cheap looking. (my opinion, may vary with some).

Love the Forest River décor, fit & finish, cabinet and cabinet space.

I do think FR products rank up there with Winnies, now days. But I have had great service from a Sunseeker.

Fleetwood are pretty progressive & have some cool setups (only wish they had a hard fiberglass roof, like winnebego's and Forest River Rigs).

Thanks Markie, I too am happy with Forest River. I think they have been making a pretty good product for several years now.
Yes, I think the fiberglass roof is a "must".
