If you need a one-nighter in Tifton, we stayed at The Pines a week ago and will probably stay there again on our way home. We had a pull thru, and they have cable & good WiFi. We traveled I-75, and it's off 75, but not right next to 75. There's another campground between The Pines and the interstate, so the noise is buffered a bit. No noise inside the RV. There's a small truck stop within walking distance across the street with a diner which came in handy.

Only advice I would give would be to take the toll road by pass west of Tuscaloosa, you will avoid a great many lights and traffic that way.

82 from Winona is an easy drive. Very little traffic, at least a couple years ago when we drove it.

78 is a better route, from Birmingham south on 65 pickup 82 east bound @ Montgomery. Either way it's not particularly scenic, just a way to get east from west. However my views are subjective and the result of taking 82 and 78 to south GA many times. It beats the heck out of I65/I75 in my book. I57 to I24 to Nashville, I65 south is another good road, more scenic. I55 through Arkansas isn't.
