Stayed with Coach-Net.Explanation on pg. 3 here.Well I spent a fair amount of time in the search realm and am still finding myself in need.I've been with Coach-Net for a few years now. I had to call once and was happy with the service.Time to renew. Or...My needs are:Motorhome + Boat/TrailerWife and I covered including our other 2 vehicles and those we borrow, rent, etc...The only thing that has me considering leaving Coach-Net is the potential for discounts and such being a GS member.Also...Maxwell just drove in Belt. Then another RBI for Duffy before ending the inning. My Giants 2, Padres 0 at the top of the 3rd.But I digress...*EDIT*I signed up for Coach-Net a few years ago because the reviews here seemed to be more in favor of them and also because I don't think GS covered boat trailers back then. But now that they do, I am wondering if the rv.net ratings are the same as the were back then or if things have evened out somewhat.Also...Top of the 6th:6-0 Giants.

Go with coachnet, you can be a GS member without being stuck with their poor quality service. We had GSRS and all 3 times we used them we waited for 4 hours and all 3 tow truck drivers said they were not going to renew their contract with GS as they were a pain to deal with and paid poorly. We were not left stranded, but other people on this forum have been. Coachnet served you well in the past, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Great service. The tow bill would have been well over $1000 per the driver. I paid nothing.

If you tow a boat would you not get more coverage from Good Sams? I don't think that Coachnet covers a boat trailer but GS does.
The boat trailer has a great chance of breaking down and you would need help.
Just a thought

In my readings of forum members here it appears that CN has a better track record experience than GS.

That said GS has a 'link to this forum' for non forum members to contact/complain to just by signing up, so of course we can see all the GS customer complaints here.

Why any company would provide a 'link to a public forum' as the 'contact' for customer service is beyond me. :R

I had GS and was towing our boat behind the MH and burnt a bearing on the trailer. Called GS, they told me boat trailers are not covered when being towed by the MH. They pointed me to some small print in the contract. Since then, I've used CN-- they don't have that restriction.

GS also has a restriction for horse trailers or any RV attending a horse show and/or dog show with dogs inside the RV. They say this falls into the category of livestock hauling which is a restriction. :R:R

If that were true all RV'ers that have dogs in them would be in violation.

I think CN does cover trailers, they,ve been called twice on my kids trailer and there was no problem.
