The tire that blew was the rear inner tire. I was only doing about 40 MPH at the time. I was diving on a winding mountain road up at about the 7000 foot level (and of course out of cell phone reception). I ended up putting the spare on myself which was no easy task, even with hydrolic jacks. I'm sure being at the 7k foot level increased the pressure in the tires some but obviously it was bound to happen sooner than later.
