- Trip Advisor on my phone does this
- Google them. Lots of programs.
- You don't need to record a route to compare distances since the program has already calculated that. IOS has a program calls "InRoute" that lets you plot various routes to the same place. It is also a real roadmap display that displays current position, weather, elevation, road windieness, etc.
