That's true today. Before that it was the Affinity Group. Each was it's own operation. With access to RV.net. But able to keep their header and .com access to RV.NET.
As already stated when RV.NET acts up. You can usually get access through one of the other portals. - sch911ExplorerAll of those portals are owned by GSE (Good Sams Enterprises). They maintain the forums. And, It's there way of adding web traffic to each site.
- lanerdExplorer IIGood question. However, just the other day the rv.net portal was having monster difficulties so it was nice to be able to go to a different portal and get right back in. But still....five or more portals just seems necessary.

- ronfishermanModeratorThere are several portals. Good Sam, RV.net, Woodalls, Trailer Life, and Motorhome. They all link to RV.NET.
- downtheroadExplorerThey are the same...just different portals.
There are a bunch of portals...I use Woodall's - tatestExplorer II

What is the difference or purpose of GS forum vs RV,net forum? They seem very similar.
Same forum, different portals, different ways to see it. You've found only two, there are more. There is a "Forum Support" forum that may have deeper explanations.
