- atsrmfExplorerHere's what I bought, rated at 12 tons total a pair. The rear axle of my Class A has 7,100 LBS on it, so I will use 4 stands to hold it up if all the tires need to be removed. 2 work OK for just one side of the axle. I use 4 for the front, too, when necessary. Made in the USA!
Hein-Werner - rgatijnet1Explorer IIIIt is important to know how your jack stands are rated. Some are rated as "each" and some are rated in "pairs". In either case it is always best to use jack stands rated at twice the load that you expect them to hold.
- Dale_TravelingExplorer IIBuy jack stands that have a secondary safety pin to lock the height rather than just the ratchet type lock.

Wasn't there something of a jack stand recall a couple of weeks back? - Executive45Explorer III
