Help finding a fuse

My 1998 Winnebago Chieftain (1997 chassis) the porch light and step lights quit working at the same time. (I'm guessing there may be more that isn't working) I've replaced bulbs with no luck. Any help where to start looking for the fuse?
  • Check the two grounds on the step assembly. The smaller wired one could be culprit.
  • Our step light works ONLY if the step switch is turned on. When it is turned on, the steps go in and out with the door open and close. After parking, we put the steps out, shut them off so they stay out - therefore our light does not work.

Step light is fed off the step circuit.

I have an issue with my step light, bulb is good, steps work, but the light doesn't.
  • I just want to take a second and thank everyone for their help. I read a lot of posts and seldom get to read how things end up. I found the fuse. (it was a simply push in type underneath the refrigerator.) Thank you again for all of the help; I'm sure I will have lots more questions moving forward.
  • If you do not find, then get a tone tracer/signal trace. Maybe a friend will have and disconnect the batteries and connect the wires to the leads and follow the signal to the fuse panel. It is something I think most RVs should have in their box.
  • Go to the winnibagoind.com site and in their archives and the wiring schematics for both automobile and house may be available. They are trying to enter all of them but I don't know how far along they are.

My 2002 Winnie has two breaker locations, above the MW and inside the battery center.
