That is a On/Off Circuit Breaker Switch
On/Off used for 'maintenance' to shut down DC
CB trips if high amp raw

It should be ON and Reset

Fan runs...is that when the thermostat closes (temp set point higher then room temp)?

When fan runs doe it TRY to light off?
    Sparking (Click, Click, Click) ?
Does flame Light off then go out??

    Brand/Model....very helpful!
  • The fan runs for a little while shuts off does not try to lite
  • I had the same problem and sanded the igniter points and it worked.
  • I had the same problem and did not figure it out until the wife complained about the low flame on the stove, then I replaced the propane regulator to fix the stove. I then tried the furnace again and it works great.

    DC Voltage??
Low will cause fan to NOT move enough airflow to move paddle that CLOSES Sail Switch

If Sail Switch doesn't close......no further furnace operation

    Once again
    Brand/Model of Furnace???????????
  • open circuit in the circuit to provide power to the circuit board.
Switch/reset should in proper position since the fan runs.
  • REPLACE the sail switch. Newer model furnace boards will not function if the sail switch bleeds 12 volt current or sticks. Jumping the sail switch is not the way to diag on newer furnaces. The control boards can see if the sail switch is OPEN or bleeds current at initial start up. From your previous posts, you have replaced at least 2 circuit boards and they rarely fail. Doug

To Jump the sail switch, you have to close the switch AFTER the fan has run for a few seconds.
  • Same problem. Turned out to be a gnat in the orifice. Twice, found by 2 different rv repair places 3 years apart. Suspected slow leak attracting gnats.
I know sounds crazy to me too.
