Help Low Water Pressure In Motorhome

My 08 Bounder water pressure has gone way down, started about 3 weeks ago, at the hose connection and at the 12 volt pump, so I changed the water pump and problem still there so I checked for leaks and found toilet valve leaking so I replaced that and my pressure is still down about 1/3 of what it was, when I 1st open a faucet the pressure comes out good but seconds later it drops, my showers are almost worthless, on the 12 volt water pump and from the hose bib connection.

So does the Bounders have a internal water pressure regulator by chance, cant see where I got something in the line because screen at hose bib side is in good shape so nothing got past that, the screen on water pump side is also clean, has this ever happen to anyone..
  • from now on ill be replacing the filter element every year.not that expensive.I changed the pressure reg, theater inlet valve.but it was the filter on the rv tank.

Holly Molly just as you posted this I just replaced my water filter, last time I put one in was a year ago and oh boy did my pressure come back, must have gotten so plugged that it killed my pressure 3 weeks ago, well now I will replace it every 6 months regardless..
  • Timmac------ just got through with SAME problem and found out it was my water filter on the mh.took out the filter and all is well .will get new filter when i get home.
  • Each faucet has a small screen at the faucet end. Those get plugged with debris over time. That's what Sadie was talking about. Unscrew them and check em....if you haven't already done so, where you attach the hose from the hose bib, there's a small screen there also. After you remove that screen, check the one way valve there to ensure it's functioning. Take a small screwdriver or similar and push in on the valve. It's spring loaded so you might get some water spit back at you...no biggie. Make sure that valve moves in and out. It's designed to allow water to flow in but not out. If the valve is stuck, it won't allow it to open completely and your water flow will suffer. Finally, check your water FILTERS. A dirty filter will lessen water flow.... Let us know what you find....Dennis

take the end of the faucet off and try it,

I have a small shut off valve in between the hose and RV inlet, no pressure going in or out, what would removing the hose do or are you talking about some faucet inside, don't understand ??
