My local Dish guy who set it all up,says I don't want Hopper as it's a lot more expensive than what I've got now and he'd have to do a lot of rewiring..
I wonder what rewiring he thinks you need to use a Hopper? The only changes I make when I switch from using the 211k in the coach to using the Hopper and Joey is to switch my dish cable from a single LNB port to the Solo Node attached to the tripod. The front TV in the coach uses the same HDMI cable for either receiver. The bedroom TV uses either the RF coax feed from the 211k or the HDMI feed from the wireless Joey when the Hopper is in use. As far as cost, yes, it costs more to buy the Hopper and the DVR fee is $12/mo plus $7 for the Joey, but we feel the extra features are well worth it.
