Hercules 22.5" tire inflation/load chart

I searched their site and Google in general anyone have a link to their inflation chart?
  • Doesn't appear that 'Hercules Tires' has a load/inflation chart

    Here is one from Goodyear.........LINK
    See if the sidewall info on your tires matches the chart info. Then go from there.
  • I believe you will have to use the load range and find a comparable tire of different brand and use their inflation charts. The normal buyer of the Hercules 22.5 tire is more interested in hauling maximum weight and not ride comfort, therefore they probably do not supply load inflation charts.

    Basically what he is saying is if you look at the sidewall of a 22.5 tire you will see the minimum air pressure required to carry the maximum weight the tire is designed for. Hercules (aka Cooper) is not into the RV ride control and comfort game. Deviations are your responsibility, I would recommend using as a guide Goodyear's load and inflation tables as a "ball park" estimate.

    All my years driving tractor trailer, we never bothered with inflation tables. Put a 100 psi or 110 psi in them and went. There was no concern about how it rode, as long as it would handle the maximum weight, and no one ever adjusted the tire psi for the load weight. But with a motorhome, we are concerned with having the lowest psi possible for the best ride, and still handling the weight on each tire. If we did like the trucking industry, they would shake apart in 5 years. That is why they call a Freightliner chassis a "Freight Shaker" when a Class 8 Cab sits on it. Because of the rough ride.
