Several times I have seen strange white lines that were very confusing and I always wondered what the automated self driving cars would do with them.

My Garmin Dash Cam 55 is supposed to have lane departure warning and forward gap warning (approaching slower or stopped vehicle too fast). My first trip with it will be next month.
Do you have to calibrate/align it initially for lane departure? How do you make it NOT warn you if you purposely change lanes?
