- GENECOPExplorer IIOur strategy is to look in the Fridge....
- WyoTravelerExplorerWith Steer Safe and all the othe mods I added the MH stays in the lane so well it is like being on auto pilot. I just get up and go back to the fridge an make myself a sandwich.
- gboppExplorerFind a wide spot along the road if you can't find a fuel stop, shopping center, etc..
I've never really had a problem finding somewhere to stop. - BumpyroadExplorerif you are any where near civilization, a big box store is just around the corner. Walmart, best buy, Home Depot, etc.

Say you're driving your big motorhome down the road, pulling a toad, and noontime arrives. You check your GPS for rest stops or travel centers, and none are nearby. Maybe one o'clock rolls around, and you haven't found a spot to stop. What's your strategy?
I'll just ask the DW to PLEASE fix me some lunch -- hold the CROWN till we stop.
Never been a problem, Think I might look into the auto pilot, so as to not disturb the DW.
BOL, - mockturtleExplorer IIWalmart.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIAny large parking lot that is big enough for us to pull in to and fix a quick lunch. This could be a shopping center, a big box store, a church parking lot(if it is not Sunday), or any other facility where it looks like my coach will not be in the way. For lunch on the road, we usually keep it light and cold so there is no need to fire up the generator or cook anything.
Just like I do with fueling stations, we have no schedule, so when we are getting close to needing fuel, or a place to stop for lunch, I pull in to the first place that looks like it will serve our purposes, rather than wait until the last minute and have to settle with a place that is less than ideal. - Cloud_DancerExplorer IIWe too have never failed to find a place to park and fix lunch in our kitchen.
- tinkererExplorerPlan your day along with expected fuel stops. If you plan your fuel stops and along with GasBuddy you can save a lot of money on fuel.:)
