- LwiddisExplorer IIDid you complete a detailed inspection including running all the systems? Did you review the maintenance records - oil changes, radiator flush, brakes, transmission fluid exchange etc.? What is the manufacturer date of the tires? How’s the roof? How long was your test drive? When you inspected the chassis, was there excessive rust?
- Executive45Explorer IIINot meaning to sound snarky, but isn't it a little too late to be asking?? :W sorry I can't help.......Dennis
- azdryheatExplorerIt was probably a good coach at one time but who knows its condition today. I work for an RV dealer and see a lot of poorly kept coaches that are less than 5 years old. Since you own it you should know by now if it's a good coach.
- DFordExplorerSafari made top of the line MHs. Sadly, they bought Beaver out just before a crunch and ended up short on funds. They were purchased by Monaco sometime in 2001 and now Monaco is part of REV Investments. The best thing you can do is join Safari International. It's a chapter of FMCA so you need join FMCA first. That's not all bad - membership in FMCA gives you repatriation insurance coverage and many other benefits. Safari International is a source of a huge amount of information on the Safari line of RVs.
