Hey MT
Welcome. Your chasis is exactly like mine...Sisters! I've just got a 22 foot Shasta coach on mine.
I'm with Eric on the head gaskets. Might just be the intake leaking down the back would be my guess. It would not get into the cylinders. When you get your torque wrench, I would get a good vacuum gauge and a good compression gauge. Search on how to use them and then post back with your numbers. I'm sure these MOPAR(mostly old paint and rust; most often passed at races :B) Fanatics can give you some baselines. Make sure you do a dry and wet compression test. I would tune her the best you can first, check your choke, make sure it's just not real rich.
Hmmm, got me thinking, maybe I could throw that 390 FE (Ford engine) big block in mine. That's the Ford (First On Race Day:C ) engine they used to spank the European's at Lemans by the way. Lunch Wagon, We could meet in the middle, say Ohio, and drag these bad boys! How about that for a You Tube exclusive!
A new one for Jeff Foxworthy even!
