Ohhhh... let's not start that. :) My hometown made the weather.com (I think that's who it was) list for the 10 snowiest cities in the US.
Of course I also remember laying in the cabover staring out the front window whenever I got to ride with them when they moved. Back then it was nothing, today... I wonder what the ticket would cost.
Mine made it in 1971 for the dirtiest city in the United States.
We'd be wherever and people'd ask "where you from," my mom'd say "Wintersville" and the response was invariably "oh, is it near Steubenville? Is Steubenville really that dirty?"
One day in SD, my dad answered "Steubenville" and the fella said"is that near Wintersville, there are people here from Wintersville." It was our neighbors from up the street. ;)
When I bought my F-150 in '02, Margaret wanted to ride in the bed. Nothing would do but put the child in the bed. I drove down the bumpiest back road (not doing that on a highway) I could find.
Wouldn't you know, she loved it.
Oldtrucker, Cleveland's 130 mi. north of me and can stay there. Eww.
And Leeann is also on the sick list. She is up for ankle (left) surgery next Tuesday. We should send her a bouquet made of sparkplugs.
