How much does one of the cost

Got back from a road trip Monday night, parked RV at my gated and covered storage space. Wednesday I cleaned and waxed the wheels. Today I went to the RV to do some maintenance and immediately noticed my right rear hub cover was missing ( freight liner XC chassis) it must have been stolen last night sometime since I checked the RV. When I was there Friday. Office is closed for weekend, but Monday will attempt to review the cameras. Attempted to call freight liner but they are closed on the weekend. Any ideas what a replacement will cost ?
New topic, dash air blowing hot (worked ok on last trip two weeks ago) bought a can of freon to see if that was the problem, however cannot access low pressure line. It appears to be about 2 feet above the generator no way to get to it without dropping the gen . Any ideas?
  • I lost one and the Freightliner with/logo bolt cost as much as the hub. Hub was $60.00. Bolt, forgot. Only remember thinking how overpriced it was. I bet you might have lost it, maybe?
  • I believe I have one that fits your rig. It measures 9"x9" and you are welcome to it if you pay for shipping. It was never on my rig which means they had to send me a new one and said keep this one. So someone will get lucky.

  • The aliens abducted it. They thought it was one of their saucers. ;)

I'll let Mulder and Scully know... :D
  • About $100 dollars if I remember correctly. Lost one after wheel service. Now check them after servicing. Must be installed flush to the rim inside. Aggravating but things happen............
  • I lost one last summer on our Phaeton. The hub cover and the retaining nut will cost you just shy of $100. Looks like someone got yours. After replacement remember that they can come loose. Ours did after service on a flat tire. You need to check them for tightness on a regular basis. Just one more thing to remember.
  • You should have ports back at the compressor and also up front that you have found.
  • Watch what you put into the A/C system or you maybe buying new from the back to the front. Sometimes it pays to have a pro do it.
