We have now had our 2010 PW for over a year. It has an Onan generator built in and although we didn't think it to be a necessity, we have used it extensively. We travel through Florida and primarily the keys but occasionally go north. We have used the generator at rest stops along the way to keep cool and make dinner, cool down the fridge quickly, (Propane is only to maintain coolness of the fridge and not used to initially cool it down). We have also used it in motion to cool down the rear area when we have guests traveling with us. Just run it each month to make sure you keep it running at its peak and follow your maintenance schedule. We would not do without one now that we have had it but to each his own.
