How to clean battery acid spill
Need to clean off of slides before they are damaged by corrosion. Don't need them ruined by the acid spill.

That really makes no difference.
Even diluted some "caustics" are still corrosive and can produce toxic gasses when mixed with acid.
It is still NOT good advice.
