- PapPappyExplorerThis is the second post today with a 31' MH looking for the water pump.
I believe your floorplan is similar to our Winnie., with our water tank and pump under the rear bed.
I had to lift the mattress off the platform....then remove the plywood at the rear of the hinge.
Here is what you will see.....at least in my RV.
I'm thinking of cutting out and installing an access door on the back of the MH, so that it's easier to access this stuff.:) - ericsmith32ExplorerOn my Jayco it's under the bathroom sink. Have to take out the flash bottom in the cabinet. The tank is above the axle. Mine being a Escapade and yours a Granite I'd bet they're similar. I played where's that sound to find it.
- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer IIWow. That's crazy placement - and for Ed and I, who winterize sometimes a few times in a season, a deal-breaker. I've always put a bypass valve on the front of our pump so we can pump antifreeze right from the bottle: we can winterize our Class C in under 10 minutes. I can't believe the manufacturers would make a critical process like winterizing, so difficult?
We open a basement compartment door, and the pump is right in front of our noses. And one more reason why we will NOT sell our Plain-Jane Class C...LOL!!!
