How to remove the steering wheel on a 07 diplomat

I have to change the switch pods on the smart wheel and need to know how to remove the top cover.BOBBARLOW 46  Thanks for information. The site you supplied solved my problem.

On edit: trouble shoot is in pdf but after looking at it, I don't see the actual removal process. However, take a look at the steering wheel from the backside and look for recessed screws. You should find at least two..maybe three on the backside.

My top cover just pops off using a screw driver. Has compression clips. Wait, what's a smart wheel?
