I just paid $6.71 per gallon for diesel
Granted, I'm currently in France. It's no wonder RVing isn't as popular here as it is in the United States. 57.32 Euros for 43.46 Liters. Doesn't sound as bad if you think of it in liters.

In the end of June we were in the little town at the base of the Schilthorne on the lauterbrunnen valley. There are a couple of campgrounds there maybe 50 sites each. They were both mostly full. The majority were travel trailers in the 22 to 24 foot range and the rest motorhomes all around 22 to 25 feet. Mostly there for the biking and hiking. Young family's. etc. it would be a place we would return to if we go back and rent a motorhome. We took pictures of a lot if the campgrounds but Angela is still sorting through them. I'll put them online when she's done.
