Information on Jetty Park Fl.

I have been at Jetty park a few years back, and I felt at that time the park was grossly neglected, the roads were very dusty and the hookups were just hanging there. The website says the park was remodeled and it is possible the conditions are better now. If anyone has been there lately, I would be interested in what the park looks like now. If things
have improved since my last visit I would like to give it another try.

  • We stayed for 14 days last October and would again. Personnel were friendly and helpful. They have put
tons of money in upgrading the park. Its very busy on weekends but weekdays are fine. My DW and I found it to be one of the more enjoyable parks in our 10,000 mile trip last fall. They have a website so
you can see the park layout and pick your spot. We even saw a 45 footer get backed in. Bob
  • We stay at Jetty Park 3-4 times a year. In the last couple of years they upgraded the roads with crushed coquina rock throughout. The east loop - closest to the beach - was also upgraded with all concrete pads, 50 amp electric and sewer connections at each site. Some of the existing concrete pads remain, but any site that did not have concrete received a new poured pad. Also, the park has placed camping cabins - bed, sink and toilet - throughout the park so if you have someone that wants to "camp" with you but has no RV, they can rent a cabin for the weekend. Great park for a weekend get away at the beach for us and is usually full year round.
  • We live on Merritt Island about 10 minutes away. Some of the remodeling is at the snack bar/rest rooms area by the beach for campers and day visitors. Roads are still dusty but believe there are new sewer hook ups for all sites now. There are also some concrete pads and bath house remodeled. The sites are very tight, but expected since close to the beach. Hope this helps
