installing brake control in 95 P30 Winnebago Brave

I want to install a trailer brake control for my tow dolly, my RV does have a 4 pin trailer connector on it now, I need to install a 7 pin connector for the electric brakes on the dolly, does anyone know if there is a connection in the dash for the trailer control?
  • I don't remember and my RV is in storage. I do remember that I had to use my test light to figure out which wire was which on the brake switch.

Finding a good power source that switched off with the key was also difficult. I found one, but it was only fused at 5 amps and my brake controller would blow that one. It took me some searching to find another.

Yeah I see, just pulled up the wiring diagram, and no connector, so I bought 100 ft roll of 16 gauge wire, wire loom and zip ties.

You wouldn't happen to remember what color wire you spliced into on the brake switch would you?
