Installing Carefree power visors in 99 Windsor

I ordered 2 Carefree power sun visors and 2 manual driver and passenger shades for our 99 Monaco Windsor.

I am concerned about adequate support for the power visors , each came with 2 mounting brackets. The mounting surface will be the vinyl covered bottom of the entertainment center cabinets that are over the dash.

The wood covered by the vinyl feels pretty thin and I don't feel just great about this wood being able to hold the visors securely.

Also have a similar problem on the side shades . One end of each one will be mounted on just plastic trim.

Also , where is the best place to tap in to 12Volts to power the powered ones ?

Hopefully someone has installed these and will have some advice !
Thanks

I installed them on my coach, and just used small screws into the vinyl covered bottom of the entertainment center cabinets that are over the dash. Since the Holiday Rambler and the Windsor were built by Monaco, I'd guess that the bottom of the entertainment center has similar construction. Mine have held up for several years over some rough roads with no problem.

You can find 12 volts in the entertainment center that feeds the relay blocking TV operation when the ignition key is on. It's also fairly easy to run a new wiring inside the front windshield post on the driver's side after you've removed the trim from the post.

I used a push button remote originally to control the shades, but that died within the first year. After that, I installed two switches on the dash to control the shades.
