I think you may have figured out my problem. I wonder if the water temp should also rise above normal, on the dash gauge, in combination with engine over-heating? If it is the fan-clutch potential problem, with these events occurring, is this in anyway detrimental to the engine and/or trans? And, is this a major repair and/or cost?
