- j-dExplorer IIFOUND!
In the "Under Bed" location. Says the "box" it's under was Stapled and Screwed in place. A little persuasion and it came off. Inverter's an Xantrex with a GFI outlet and a circuit breaker button. Re-Set it and TV works.
I don't like the idea of hiding a device like a GFI or Breaker...
THANKS EVERYBODY!!! - j-dExplorer IIJust spoke with Owner. Those of you with Inverter "under bed": Passenger Side, where there's a long, narrow "box" that comes off to reveal Converter/Charger, Load Center, Transfer Switch, and optionally the Inverter?
We have an '03 Escapade, and that's how we're set up. Just no Inverter.
He told me he looked there, and couldn't find any screws to remove in order to take the "box" (actually only the top and side of a box) out. - suprzExplorer

Same on ours - mgirardoExplorerHave your friend crawl under the Motorhome and look where the chassis grounds are. Follow the wires back. One should lead to the inverter. Our inverter's chassis ground is directly beneath the inverter. There are a bunch at the same spot since the inverter, converter and auto transfer switch are all in the same location.
-Michael - j-dExplorer IIUPDATE: Jayco is winning the S-Hell Game! The "box" the owner found, was NOT the Inverter! Issue continues. I hope I'll get a look at it, wish I'd looked and not just talked about it when I was sitting in that coach!
Says he's followed all the posts in this thread and not found it. Hoping to call Jayco, and hope Jayco knows were it is...
Owner Manual says it's a Xantrex model that has GFCI and Overload that can be re-set. If you can get hands on it, apparently... - j-dExplorer IINew "Shell Game!" Where's The Inverter? Now that the one in question's been found under the sink, hopefully we can learn if
It's not getting 12DC
It's not putting out 120AC
AC isn't getting to TV
TV isn't responding to AC - mgirardoExplorer

Thanks, Michael. I that the original Inverter supplied by Jayco?
I have a 400W Cobra MSW and will bring that along as an aid to troubleshooting. Meter, test light... etc.
Yes, our inverter was standard equipment from the factory.

- j-dExplorer IIHe found it in an unmarked area under the kitchen sink cabinet. In this coach, the "wall" the interior grab handle is on, to your left, as you climb in. It's also the end of the kitchen sink/drawer cabinet. That's where the inverter is. Now for the troubleshooting.
