Is it possible to replace front cap on a C to make it a B+?
We really like our Gulfstream class C, except that we don't have much need for the front over-cab bed. I was wondering if anyone has, or knows anyone, that removed the front over-head bed section and just installed a 1 piece fiberglass streamlined nose-cap like those found on many class B+ units? Basically changing the C into a B+.
This seems that it would accomplish three things.
1. Make the front end more aerodynamic.
2. Virtually eliminate those pesky window leaks.
3. Give us a central area to build an entertainment area.
Of course buying a B+ would be the simplest solution but we got such a great deal on our unit, and like it so much that we plan on keeping it for a long time. We're just interested in making it more livable.
Any thoughts?
