Isolation of coach batteries during long term rving parking

Would it be commendable to isolate coach batteries when connected to shore power, Has anybody ever try this? My concern is boiling over the batteries, If you isolate batteries you should operate coach on 120 AC volt power and inverter 12 volts DC power. Any ideas or recommendations

Thanks have a great day.

On most coaches, isolating the coach batteries while connected to shore power will also isolate them from being charged. You may find them DEAD when you get ready to unhook and drive away.

If you do isolate them, reconnect them at for a couple of hours every few days.
  • Thanks guys for all your info. Have a great day
    Happy and safe Rving
