I was through Madison a couple weeks ago. I ran into construction on 94 northbound, and Hwy 19 was closed. I guess you ARE getting some of it.
Yes there is a lot of construction but most is to accommodate increasing traffic. That leaves little money for just resurfacing roads that take a beating from a terrible winter. We will need to adjust our funding in the future as gas tax is now impacted by fuel efficient vehicles. I guess our moho's do not fall in that category. The so called "Prius tax" makes little sense. As we develop more efficient interchanges such as Marquette and the new, in progress, Verona Rd in Madison we need to figure out how we will maintain them.
