Have stayed at both Sams and Arizona Charlies. Was very satisfied with both and couldn't recommend one over the other.
Happy RV'ing!!

We have stayed at Sam's Town and have toured LV Motorcoach looking at lots for sale but we like Oasis the best. We stayed there for three months starting last March while we settled an elderly relative into assisted living. DW like it because they taught her how to play Texas Hold em. No good will come of this. Now she wants to enter the World Series of Poker.

We've only been to Las Vegas once and we stayed at Sam's town. We liked it with no problems that I can remember. We had no toad but Sam's had a shuttle to the strip, no problem.

There is another option. The Main Street Station downtown has an RV park. It is just a parking lot, but has full hookups and is less than $20 a day. From there you can catch a few different bus routes including the strip bus although others may be quicker to your destination and they have shuttles to Sam's where there are shuttles to other Boyd properties. We have not stayed there but plan to this October.

The best for location on the strip is the KOA at Circus Circus. Pretty much a big parking lot with lots if designated sites and excellent services. The majority are pull through. Great staff and right on the strip walkable to everything. Pool, games room, store, show tickets in the hotel. We use to go to Outdoor Resorts or Oasis and although they were both fine as well we prefer the KOA at circus circus.

Nice as you can easily walk the two blocks to the strip.

If you have a dog, get a spot with grass and a shade tree. Costs extra, but well worth it.

We have always stayed at the Oasis. Nice place--fairly quiet, very clean and well run--Lars

I really enjoy the Oasis. It is near shopping, far enough off the Strip but not too far, near my daughter's house (probably most important) and a very nice campground. If this is your first trip to LV you might enjoy CircusCircus. It is right on the Strip, you can walk to many hotels. Lots of action, great for children, but really just a parking lot with full hookups and a hotel. Sam's Town has a nice campground on Boulder Highway, far from the Strip, but also a parking lot with full hookups and an adjacent hotel.

Don't know what rv you have. If TT or 5er with large tow vehicle or MH without a toad you may want to be near the strip so you can walk. Most all parking is garages. Inconvenient with large vehicle. When we had a 5ver we rented a car. Kids will like circus circus but too crowded for us old people.

We stay at LV RV Resort. They charge $29 a night for all the sites. Lots of pull throughs. Security gate to get in. No one gets in without a pass.

Have stayed at the Circus Circus KOA on the strip before we towed our car. Very expensive for what you get. However, you can walk to the strip and pick up the busses.

We used to stay at Sam's Town. Like Arizona Charlies better. They treat you better. All nice pull through sites. About same $30 a night. Both on Boulder highway. When we were living in So CA Sams Town would always give us a good pull through. Not living there any more seems Sams Town likes to push off back in gravel sites next to fence and Boulder highway. Mean while there were numerous vacant pull throughs available all during our stay. JMHO.

We always stay at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort on Arville at Blue Diamond. I like the security, quietness and closeness to the strip without being right on it. It runs about $60 a night with a basic site (fine for us), we don't need an outdoor kitchen, etc.

This location is just down from the T/A truck stop and the I-15 interchange at Blue Diamond south of the Las Vegas strip.

MM.

And.....right across the I-15 from the Oasis RV park. Both are very good parks as we have stayed at both.

Circus Circus has rv park with FHU behind the casino which puts you within walking distance of the strip.
