Last Post Sold the MH

Well we finnaly made the decision to sell the coach. On tuesday we drove it back to our selling dealer for service, and an apraisal. We were considering consignment, or selling it ourselves. The dealer made us a good offer for buying it outright. He came up on his price, and I took it. The coach was just too much work for us to keep it up. Since we bought our winter home in Florida, we were just using it for two weeks of travel back and forth. Many times we thought about going away for a weekend, but determined it was just too much work, easier to just jump in the car and stay at a hotel. This forum has been a great source of information over the last four and a half years. I want to thank everyone for all your help.
  • Sold our 172M while having annual performed. Money changed hands same day.

I often wondered if that was the right thing to do (sellers remorse). DW reminded me of going down three times (2-RVN) and once in TX. Figured I had my last flight. Have not been in one since.

"Didn't know his last flight would be the last one." Seems that happens a lot...

  • It's been fun, take care and have some smoke meat and beer at Burroughs Tavern for me.

Glad to hear that you got what you hoped to for the coach. Enjoy your time in Florida. We will think of you as we drive by those motels. Enjoy whatever you decide to do. We appreciate your contribution to the forum
  • It's nice when deals go like that. My father had a light plane. Took it in for it's annual inspection. Just for speculation he asked for an appraisal. Sold it that afternoon. Didn't know his last flight would be the last one.
  • Hey, whatever lifts your sails. Enjoy life, and best wishes where ever you are.
