Leak in cab over bed area.

I am new here and not sure where to post this but here it goes. I have a 2004 fleetwood jamboree 26q that I bought in June 2013. I have a leak in the very front of the cab over area in the driver side corner. The only area that gets wet on the inside is the very bottom corner nothing else gets wet (that I can see). I have went over and over the roof and all the seams up front but have had no luck. It dose not seem to leak in light to medium rain. But in the heavy down pours we have here in south Louisiana it leaks. I have also check the cab lights the sealant looks to be good around them. Any help or pointer would be helpful. Trying to get it right before we leave out for the summer.

Thanks for the help,
  • Thanks for all the response. I am going to replace the screws in the top clearance light and reseal them. I look at the screws today and I have a few with the heads rusting. I have look around here for someone to do a pressure test on it but have not found anyone that can do it.
  • If you can, have a pressure test done. Best $100 bucks spent for me. They print out a sheet that shows you where you need to seal. Good luck!
  • I have the same Make, model and year. The dealership where I bought mine new, re-sealed the marker lights and checked for cracks before I took possession. They're notorious for leaks around the lights because the builders over-tighten the lights with a power screwdriver. No leaks around the window, but I would have ordered without it if I knew I could. If I want to see what's in front of me I look thru the windshield.
  • I feel your pain, I am heading out in a couple of minutes to try my hand at my first resealing job.
  • if it has a window pop the window out and reseal it with proflex sealant. also remove all screws that hold your clearance lights on and replace them with new ones, dipping them in the sealant too. Lazy rv workers never do this at the factory and it's a perfect place for water to wick inside the rv. I bet your screws are half gone from rust already when you remove them
