leak on rear bedroom slide

Hi all,

In our second trip in new to us MH. Been staying in the Eugene area, lots of rain today. Here's a pic of a leak that is coming through on the slide. It's not wet on the cieling, it's somehow leaking into from the back. I pulled the slide in a little bit so I could check for anything obvious, but nothing was. What should I do/check next?

The slides have their own awning over the top of them that retract with the slide.

(hopefully the pic works, first time posting one)

Aggravating I can't get it to work. I wonder if this link will:

  • If the slide out seal is at the same point as the leak, I would say that you might have water rolling into the seal from outside the topper and then finding its way into the wall. Are the seals seated in the right position after the slide comes out or are they twisted? Capillary action can be a hard thing to trace to its source.
  • I had a leak similar to what your describing and mine was a hole in the slide out seal!
  • Can you tweak the leveling just a little to get the water to run to the outside of the slide??
  • looks like the "cloth" trim got soaked in a few places from the rear. but is that the wall around the slide opening? doesn't quite make sense to me.
