Remember when you were younger and had money left over at the end of the month? That doesn't happen anymore. These younger ones have either no spare time or no spare money. The geezers like us that got out ahead of the crash are not too badly off).
SIL and DD are in that group. He got a teaching degree - Summa Cum Laude - and was two years looking for a job anywhere. Finally did and no health coverage (so they are waiting to start a family). (Someone is waiting to be Grama and is really disappointed.)
At his age, we took the kids camping. They have to borrow our gear. And kids are waiting for better days. Likelihood of any young RVs coming along is getting slimmer by the day.
More than a few of those our age are moving into the RV to save the property taxes on the house. If you have a house and selluld use for the RV on taxes. Watch out for tha.
Last time out, we were part of an vintage and antique camper display. When I told some of the young ones what it takes, they just said that they don't have the time/money to do that. aring at possible disast
