We have a 31 ft class c that has HWH automatic levelers and I highly recommend them. Easy to level, and very stable in the worst of storms.
No crawling around with wood or plastic leveling blocks or moving back and forth. park, hit the button, done...

What Dave said!
I have a 40ft Gulfstream Supernova and I hit the button and it levels that big ole rig in @ 45 seconds. I have way too much other stuff to worry about than leveling the rig.
I know it is not for everyone, but auto levelers are one of those things that make the RV experience much better for me.
If you can afford it, go for it.

I did the same thing. They work for me.
I took a hint off another forum and cut up a horse stall mat. The mat cost $50. I got a large number of strips. Getting the same amount of Lynx levelers would have run me twice as much. Only used them once so far. One side (front/back) on an uneven river side dry camp site. They worked great.

Interesting. Thanks! - Arizona_KidExplorer"You may not use the Open Roads Forum to either advertise or promote commercial endeavors. This includes direct posts, member name, URLS in your profile or signature, as well as, active links to other sites on the Internet."

- jornExplorerI use Lynx to level, and stabilizer jacks after that. If I could afford to have an automatic leveling system, I'd be all over that.
- moose888ExplorerI have a super C Dynamax with auto levelers and they are great ! push a button and you are level.
I would save for the levelers better than crawling around on the ground in the rain. - Jim_ShoeExplorerI have the same HWH kick down jacks as J-D. They do move in pairs, but they're built that way to avoid twisting the frame. Sometimes I have to fiddle with them to find the right combination of F, L, R, and B pairs. But I do the fiddling from the driver's seat - not on my hands and knees in the dirt or gravel. Wouldn't be without them.
- MarshaNicholsExplorerHi All...I bought the Born Free (24') that also don't come with levelers unless it has a slide (which mine didn't). They would have cost $3500.+ and add weight. I decided if later I wanted them, I could get them...for now, plastic levelers!
- j-dExplorer IIWe've had two C's with HWH Kick-Down "Jacks" (Levelers). The ones on the old 1984 24-ft actually worked a little better than the ones on the 2003 31-ft. The ones on the 31 rarely kick down together. That puts me under there pulling one straight, spraying Silicone on it, etc. That's worse than using blocks. This is made worse because the set on the 31 are set up to deploy in pairs. If you say "Lift Front" then both front jacks operate. If you say "Lift Left" then both driver side jacks operate. It's a manual pushbutton control with indicator lights telling you which button to push.
The older C was a 24-ft on 158-inch (stock OEM) wheelbase with a long rear overhang. This meant the front jacks were under the cab seats and the rear ones were just behind the rear axle. It seemed that to get say 2" of correction I had to go 3" because the jacks were all so close that the whole coach was being lifted. We had several leveling where a front wheel was off the ground, or I had to add something at the house steps because the passenger side raised so much to achieve level.
Still, we've pulled into sites in the pouring rain, leveled up with jacks and had everything work. The 31-ft has a automatic generator transfer switch. I plugged the 24-ft's shore tie into the generator outlet (manual "transfer") so we could just start the genset and sit in the level coach with the A/C and TV on till the rain stopped. NICE!
