I have a 2004 Safari Zanzibar (Class A) Monaco mfg. I turned on all the 12 volt interior lights and after 20-30 minutes the overhead florescent lights and the passenger side lights suddenly went out. There are no bad fuses on the inside panel. What else should I look for?

You on shore power or batts alone?

Encore, Did you actually test the power feed to those lights? There are lots of things that can be wrong, but one must start with basic diagnostics. Matt

Yes, no power & lights out.

Are you sure these are all 12 volt lights? I think my florescent lights are 120. Not positive and not home to check. Check breakers.

My guess. Dead batteries and bad converter, the combination will kill florcesents but only dim the incandascent types.

Volt meter the batteries.

Melvin AT Monaco was very helpful. He suggested that I "jump" to breaker to determine whether that was the problem.. I did and it was. All I have to do is replace it.

Double check your 12 volt DC power distribution panel for blown fuse on icoming side. Check in the power compartment for two 12 volt circuit breakers that feed the power distribution panel. These are the small one inch square in most cases with two 5/16 studs on each.

Lights on drivers side work but passenger side and overhead lights do not, neither does a/c thermostat and monitor panel for tanks.

You jumper the two large posts.
Doubt this is the problem in your case. If your furnace and other 12 volt items work then it is not the problem.

The relay is in the front drive run bay...just bypass the positive on one side of the relay to the other...I'd post a picture but don't have it....this is very common with Monaco products.

Did you test the fuses or just look at them? Need to test them with test light or meter.
Is the outages on a slide out? Could be cable pulled apart.

I have turned the switch at the door off and back on several times. I can hear the breaker in the breaker in the run bay, but not sure either has failed. The switch has a red light on when the head lights are on. How can I determine which has failed?
