Looking for Motorized Windshield shade

I have 2 motorized MCD shades installed in the front and manual pull down on the drivers and passenger sides.

They do a good job but I wish they looked better.

Our coach has motorized sun screens with a pull curtains for night time. We winter in the Rio Grande valley and there are several companies there that make awnings and shades for RV's. We had a manual shade installed while we were there last winter. Its a straight shot across the front with nothing hanging down to interfere and its right in front of the motorized sun screens. For $150 installed you can't beat it. We haven't used the pull curtains since we had it installed.

I found MCD the best. Installed them myself. Easy DIY.

The MCD is 'head & shoulders' above anything else I looked at before going to TX and having windshield & Driver & Co-pilot shades installed.
To save a few bucks, you can do the 'manual' option (which I did for the two sides), but the ease of just pushing a button to get the sunscreen down (when headed West in the afternoon) and the simple up/down for the enclosure curtains made it well worth while for us.
(Yes, we are making our 'older' (16 years) coach more comfortable for us with some 'updates', but it is MUCH LESS expensive than a newer coach with the same basic facilities and capabilities!!)
So..to answer the original question:
NO...the other options that cost less than MCD are just not good value!
JMHO - your mileage may vary!!

I had looked at the choices Too, found MCD the best for my two, windshield and for the. Door window, both now electric, A men !
Cheap vs happy, I choose happy over junk.
